Biography of Giuseppe Paderni

Giuseppe Paderni was born on August the 7th 1974. He earned the Laurea degree in Industrial Chemistry (score 110/110) at the “Università degli studi di Parma” (Italy) with a thesis titled: “Upper rim funtionalized cavitands as transition metals ligands”.
After a short experience at the “Heriot-Watt University” Edinburgh (UK), with a research scholarship in the field of the “Synthesis and characterization of deuterated polymers to be used for QENS (Quasi Elastic Neutron Scattering)”, he built up his working experience in two industrial companies: from the year 2001 to 2006 at “CF Gomma s.p.a.” as Researcher/ Formulation Technologist, then, from 2006 to 2015, at “Industre Polieco – MPB s.r.l.”as Senior Technologist.
In both cases the main activities can be summarize as follow: To design new formulations following the clients, as well as market needs and requests, norms and specifications; To Guarantee technical assistance at the clients; To Promote new products; To Analyse production process and ensure product's quality.
During the year 2015 he moved to Montenegro with his family and there he has spent a short period at the company “Hemko”- Podgorica as Technologist, acting as production manager and leading a small group of 8 workers.
From September 2017 he is the Director of the Food Quality and Food Safety Laboratory of the Faculty of Food Technology, Food safety and Ecology. Here his main activities and responsibilities are the following: To manage the laboratory work, from the sample receiving to the final reports; To select and to validate properly the analytical methods; To follow and manage the work of students and other researcher in the laboratory; To hold lessons to the students as preliminary work for the laboratory exercises.
Projects: R&D manager fort the project INNOFOOD: Products and process innovation in the Montenegrin food industry - Co-financed by the Montenegrin Ministry of Science (decision number 01-2311/3 of December the 12th 2018); R&D manager and contact person for the project MedExLab: Establishment of Centre Evaluation of Honey authenticity.
